Minor Academic Achievements:

At the age of 12, Ada Lovelace wrote her first book, called Flyology, because she was interested in the dynamics of flight. Also, she was appointed a personal governess to teach her history, literature, languages, geography, music, chemistry, sewing, mathematics and horse riding until she was 13, where afterwards she was educated by private tutors and later self studied with mathematician-logician Augustus De Morgan assisting her.

Major Academic Achievements:

Ada Lovelace is known as the first ever computer programmer because of all of the contributions she has made to the computer science industry. She is most known for assisting Charles Babbage with his famous "Analytical Engine". She also translated many of Babbage's works into different languages for people to understand. She became Co founder of Crabbet Arabian Stud, a place that breeded the best horses for transportation. Even after she died, she still helped women all around the world learn to code because the British Computer Society started an annual competition for women students in 2008 to remember her.
