Birth: January 1, 1950

Minor Academic Achievements:

Guido Van Rossum is a Dutch programmer who started off his programming career by developing ABC, a simple programming language with the intent to help scientists without coding experience learn how to code. Afterwards, he worked on Amoeba, which is an operating that was created by Andrew Tanenbaum and was directed by Sape Mullender.

Major Academic Achievements:

Guido Van Rossum aspired to create an interpreter for a language similar to ABC and one that was appealing to Unix and C hackers. Python, which is a general-purpose high-level programming language with clear, easy-to-understand syntax, is the result of that aspiration. Python is now known as one of the most popular programming languages in the world. It is also known as a multiparadigm programming languages, which means that it can work with various styles of programming.
